Job Summary
Transport patients safely via stretcher or wheelchair to healthcare facilities, nursing homes, or private residences while providing outstanding customer service. Maintain a clean criminal record, hold a valid G class license, and lift 250+ lbs with a partner. Work 12-hour floating shifts starting between 6am and 12pm, two shifts per week. Maintain current immunization records and First Responder or AEMCA certification. Required Qualifications
- Valid First Responder Certification OR AEMCA, OR are working towards a Paramedic Diploma (must be finished year 1) OR are a Firefighter with Emergency Medical Responder Certification
- Valid BLS certificate or CPR Level HCP
- Valid G class driving license
- Ability to lift 250+ lbs. using a stretcher or stair chair with partner
- Ability to effectively communicate in both verbal and written English
- Safe driver with a clean driving record
- Clean Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector
- Up to date immunization records and can provide the following records of: MMR, DPT, Polio, Varicella, Hepatitis B, COVID-19 (2 doses), TB Skin Test (Step 1) *must be valid within last 12 month
- Ability to work 12hrs floating with a start time anytime between 6am and 12pm
- Part time - 2 shifts per week availability
