Patient Support Technician-TH6 OR-Day Shift (37.5 Hours)

Assist professional staff in patient and family care by completing assigned tasks, ensuring sterile technique, and maintaining cleanliness of the operating room, instrument room, and equipment areas. Provide direct support to surgical team members, manage supplies and environmental safety, and respond to requests delegated by registered nurses. Maintain patient confidentiality, address infection prevention standards, and support admission, transfer, and discharge procedures. Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the healthcare team while participating in unit meetings and orientation processes. Complete annual competency checklists and seek resources to address learning needs.
