Patient Support Technician, Part-Time, Nights

Assist the Registered Nurse with routine personal hygiene tasks including bathing, hair washing, tooth brushing, and hand washing. Support patients with nutrition needs by assisting with feeding, drinking, and setting up meal trays. Facilitate ambulation duties such as dangling, walking, and implementing fall prevention measures under RN direction. Monitor and document patient inputs and outputs while assessing vital signs like blood pressure, pulse, temperature, heart rate, and oxygenation. Report abnormal values to the Registered Nurse. Complete the PrismaHealth unit secretary course and training within 90 days of hire. Maintain current CPR Heartsaver certification.
