Job Summary
Patient Support Associate at UW Health Care Direct serves as the first contact for referrals, patients, and caregivers, acting as a communication liaison between callers and the team. Responsibilities include answering a multi-line phone, providing information or transferring calls, directing emails within the team, participating in the HME Fax Wrangling process (Brightree workflow, including account creation and generic sales orders), indexing documents, staying updated with workflow changes, and providing basic training to new staff. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, effective communication, basic computer skills, strong organizational and customer service abilities, and a professional demeanor. This role is based in Middleton, WI and is a full-time position.
