Job Summary
Assist Registered Nurse in providing direct patient care on a Med Surg unit. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating, walking), maintaining patient rooms and equipment, supporting patient safety and telemetry monitoring, transporting patients, and performing delegable nursing tasks and basic care duties as directed. Utilize portable technology for documentation of intake/output and vital signs, coordinate with visitors and staff, and act as a potential preceptor or super user for nursing assistant IT. Maintain high reliability in safety and quality, and perform other duties as requested. Minimum qualifications include High School or GED and BLS certification; shift is variable with part-time scheduling; affiliated with OhioHealth. The role is located at VAN WERT HOSPITAL, United States of America.
