Job Summary

Assist patients with enrollment into free medication assistance programs by reviewing applications, verifying eligibility, and determining qualification based on Federal Poverty Level guidelines. Communicate with patients, healthcare providers, and internal teams regarding application status, benefit verification, medication support, and required documentation. Manage a high-volume caseload while providing timely follow-up on application decisions, case updates, and ongoing patient support. Maintain accurate documentation within internal systems and application status portals while ensuring compliance with program guidelines and healthcare regulations. Deliver compassionate customer service by helping patients navigate specialty medication programs, resolving issues efficiently, and supporting access to therapy. Nice to have: Previous specialty pharmacy experience; Bilingual: Spanish/English; Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician license, in good standing; Medicare programs, Medicare Savings Programs, Medicare Extra Help.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
  • 2 years healthcare, medical, claims, insurance/preauthorization or pharmacy-related experience preferred
  • Knowledge of co-pays, deductibles, prior authorizations
  • Bilingual: Spanish/English (nice to have)
  • Background check required
