Job Summary
Patient Services Team Lead leading the phlebotomy/clinical laboratory patient services area during night shift; oversees department operations, coaching and mentoring of phlebotomists and staff, staffing and scheduling, and performance management; drives quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and effective communication with internal/external customers; requires strong leadership, two years of clinical laboratory phlebotomy/test management experience, advanced computer skills, and excellent customer service.
Required Qualifications
- Education consistent with a high school diploma or equivalent
- two (2) years’ experience within the clinical laboratory in phlebotomy/test management area
- strong leadership and communication skills
- advanced computer skills
- excellent customer service skills
- working knowledge of regulatory, accrediting, and compliance requirements
- fingerprinting certification or ability to obtain (ADHS) for Mobile/Long Term Care placement
- Confidential Information and Restrictive Covenant Agreement (IOP placement) may be required
- valid driver’s license and eligibility for company auto insurance
