Job Summary
PRN Patient Services Support Specialist responsible for greeting patients/visitors, handling calls, scheduling appointments, data entry of patient demographics/insurance, training new PSR staff, and providing front desk coverage across assigned NorCal clinics. Travel within the region to clinics as needed for onboarding and PTO/sick-time coverage. Must maintain HIPAA compliance, assist with insurance inquiries, verify authorizations, collect payments, and support coordination with providers and payors. Requires high school degree and 2+ years medical office experience; strong communication, data-entry accuracy, and customer-service skills; travel is required. Schedule is full-time (40 hours/week) with pay in the $24-$26 per hour range.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in a medical office
- Experience with patient management software and systems (Raintree preferred)
