Job Summary
Welcome patients and visitors to the office; answer and assist all incoming telephone calls; schedule appointments using a computerized scheduling system and conduct follow-up calls when necessary; provide timely and accurate information and quality customer service to incoming patient inquiries; maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal, financial, and insurance information. This role supports the San Ramon, Menlo Park, and Los Gatos offices in California and requires strong communication, organization, and customer-service skills, with at least a high school diploma and 2+ years of customer service experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma; Associates degree or Business School diploma
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service-related position
- Knowledge of office procedure and office machines (i.e. computer, fax, copier, etc.)
- Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in an ever-changing environment
