Job Summary
Greet patients and visitors with warmth and exceptional service; assist the technologist with patient care and exam preps; manage front desk duties, appointment scheduling, and communication with referring physicians and patients; collect and process copays; receive, record, and route documents and faxes; scan records and maintain patient files; stock radiology rooms and assist patients on and off exam tables; weekend hours on rotating schedule; support staff as needed to ensure efficient operations and compassionate patient care.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years’ related experience and/or training
- Graduate of Medical Office Assistant Program preferred
- Basic knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong typing skills desired
- Bilingual skills helpful
