Job Summary
Patient Services Specialist - Patient Access role supporting Providence St. Peter Hospital’s revenue cycle operations. The position focuses on patient access and registration within the One Revenue Cycle framework, delivering services, operational and technical support, and sharing revenue cycle expertise to enhance patient experience. Key prerequisites include customer service or healthcare registration experience, ability to organize and manage time in a fast-paced environment, and CHAA certification upon hire. Preferred qualifications include HS Diploma or GED, some college coursework (medical terminology/medical assistance), and experience as an admitting representative or with third-party payors. This role is located in Olympia, WA and is suggested as Part-Time with day shifts.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year Experience in customer service or healthcare registration
- A track record in organizing and planning with demonstrated ability to effectively manage time and achieve results in a fast paced environment
- Upon hire: National Certification of CHAA
- Admitting Representative and third party payor experience
