Job Summary
Check in and out new and established patients while managing inbound referrals and scheduling appointments. Answer and direct calls on a multi-line phone system, obtaining and completing insurance information for cosmetic patient inquiries. Ensure timely, appropriate scheduling and handle additional administrative and support tasks as needed. This phone-based role supports the Plastic Surgery East Clinic team within Northeast Portland, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year of work experience
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians, and other team members
- A commitment to patient-focused care, privacy, and safety
- Excellent attendance and work ethic
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and effectively multitask

Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year of work experience, preferably in a medical office
- Specialty care, Plastic Surgery experience
- Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
- Epic experience
- Strong customer service skills and experience
- Familiarity with insurance and referral processes
