Job Summary
Verify insurance benefits and medical documentation to submit pre-authorization requests, then manage inbound and outbound calls to process referrals from insurance companies, patients, and sales representatives. Utilize Salesforce systems to complete daily tasks per standard operating procedures while providing guidance on payer-specific coverage criteria. Examine resources to support referral processing and escalate urgent or complex issues to the Intake Manager for timely resolution. Process prior authorizations, appeals, and insurance updates for workers' compensation and veteran patients to restore mobility. Remote position with a pay range of $22-$26 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of patient intake experience with insurance verification
- 1-2 years of prior authorization experience in a clinical setting
- Workers' Compensation claims experience
