Job Summary
Front-line administrative and clerical support in a medical office. Responsibilities include greeting and registering patients, verifying demographic and insurance information, collecting copayments, maintaining accurate documentation in the EHR, ensuring HIPAA/privacy compliance, answering phones, scheduling appointments, processing referrals, and supporting billing and reporting processes. Requires strong customer service, attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional healthcare setting, and proficiency with EHR and Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ year of experience in clerical, customer service, or healthcare office settings preferred
- Basic knowledge of EHR systems and Microsoft Office applications preferred
- Strong attention to detail, interpersonal communication, and time-management skills
- Demonstrated professionalism and commitment to patient confidentiality
