Job Summary
Patient Services Representative at US Fertility (Shady Grove Fertility) in Mechanicsburg, PA. Welcome patients and visitors, answer and route telephone calls, schedule appointments using a computerized scheduling system and conduct follow-up calls, provide timely information and quality customer service to patient inquiries, and maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal, financial, and insurance information. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM ET. Requires a high school diploma with preferred associates or business school diploma and at least 2 years of customer-service experience; proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. The role emphasizes collaboration across a national network of physicians and fertility-care teams, patient-centered care, accuracy, and efficiency in a busy clinical setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma; Associates degree or Business School diploma
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service-related position
- Knowledge of office procedure and office machines (i.e. computer, fax, copier, etc.)
- Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in an ever-changing environment
