Job Summary
Greets patients and visitors in person and by telephone; schedules appointments in person or over the phone to enhance patient satisfaction and provider efficiency; manages patient flow by coordinating arrivals and delays; maintains confidential patient records and supports revenue cycle by processing charges and third-party claims; oversees office supplies and census reporting; assists with urine screens and documentation; ensures a welcoming, compliant, and efficient clinic environment within Symetria Recovery's outpatient MAT program; requires strong communication, basic office IT skills, EMR familiarity (Kipu preferred), and knowledge of HIPAA/CFR42.
Required Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems preferred; Kipu experience strongly desired
- Prior medical office experience preferred
- Knowledge of insurance benefits, HIPAA, CFR42, scheduling and related regulations/procedures
