Job Summary
Provides frontline patient registration and scheduling support for physician practices, verifies patient demographics and insurance information, explains financial options to patients, updates medical records, and assists with referrals, follow-up appointments, and MyChart access. Delivers excellent customer service, troubleshoots issues to maintain patient flow, processes admission paperwork and insurance verification, handles payments and revenue-cycle tasks, and may cover other physician practice locations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Prior healthcare/patient registration experience not required as a mandatory qualification (preferred)
