Job Summary
Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal financial and insurance information. Optimize patient satisfaction and treatment room utilization by assessing minimum needs and scheduling appointments accordingly. Address customer and patient issues to ensure effective short-term and long-term resolution. Provide timely feedback to the practice regarding service failures or patient concerns. Consult with patients regarding their benefits, coverage, and financial options. Greet patients and visitors to the office while providing a high level of customer service. This role requires occasional weekend and holiday rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of applicable work experience
- High School diploma
- Extensive knowledge of insurance/benefits, medical terminology and medical billing
- Strong communication skills
- Independent worker
- Detailed-oriented
- Computer savvy
- High level of customer service
- Required to work occasional weekends and holiday
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Eastern Time
- Weekend rotation every 4 to 6 weeks
- Holiday rotation
