Job Summary
The Patient Services Representative (PSR) handles inbound and outbound patient interactions, scheduling, registration, and insurance verification while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and company policies. Responsibilities include initiating pre-registration, verifying insurance details, and providing financial counseling. Candidates must possess 2+ years in a patient-facing role, have strong analytical and customer service skills, and be able to work under minimal supervision. Bilingual skills are preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ Years experience in a patient facing healthcare function or other customer service function
- Ability to work as an integral team member under minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to safeguard confidential information in accordance with established policies and HIPAA regulations
- Mathematical skills and ability to perform financial counseling
