Job Summary
Patient Services Representative (Medical & Dental) in the Case Management department will check in patients for medical, dental, and behavioral health visits, complete registrations, and schedule appointments for medical and/or dental sites. Will coordinate with Center Managers to address denied claims, ensure accurate patient data, maintain HIPAA privacy and release of information, and handle complex patient claims and authorization issues. Requires strong customer service, data-entry accuracy, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment; proficiency with Dentrix and Athena, Microsoft Outlook, and excellent communication skills. Education: high school diploma or equivalent; immunizations up to date; 1–2 years healthcare customer-service experience preferred. Location: Carrboro CHC, Carrboro, NC; Schedule: Mon–Fri 8:00–5:00, plus Saturday 8:00–1:00, with other days as needed.
