Job Summary
Front-desk Patient Services Representative at Oakland Family Medicine. Duties include greeting patients, managing front desk operations (check-in/check-out, scheduling), using EMR and scheduling software to register patients and book appointments, verifying insurance and obtaining prior authorizations, processing co-pays and deductibles, directing patients to financial counseling when needed, and entering billing and patient information accurately. Requires healthcare registration experience or transferable experience, familiarity with EMR systems and insurance verification, and strong communication and organizational skills in a busy, patient-facing environment. Per diem, part-time schedule with a supportive healthcare team and opportunities for professional growth.
