Job Summary
Perform a variety of clerical functions supporting the overall Imaging Center by providing a warm, welcoming environment for all patients. Handle a high volume of patient check-ins while ensuring the accuracy of patient demographic and insurance information. Collect and reconcile patient payments, responding to inquiries regarding routine billing and insurance matters. Accurately enter incoming orders in a timely manner and de-escalate conflict situations with minimal supervisory assistance. Work Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 5 PM earning $21.32 to $30.34 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year in a customer service-oriented environment
- Must be very proficient in computer skills
- Must be very proficient in multi-tasking
- Must be very proficient in working with several software programs at the same time
- Demonstrates a professional demeanor in appearance
- Demonstrates a professional demeanor in behavior
- COVID-19 vaccination (subject to exemptions)
- Written proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a written request for an exemption within 30 days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-year medical office experience
- Knowledge of medical insurance
