Process patient registration, verify demographics, and obtain insurance cards while greeting patients and answering calls in a respectful manner. Schedule appointments, transcribe orders, and enter necessary information into the computer system to maintain accurate medical records. Troubleshoot registration errors, calculate patient liabilities, and collect payments, then reconcile the cash drawer at day's close. Assist patients with online scheduling, MyChart, and referrals, while verifying RX benefits and obtaining authorizations for scheduled procedures. File patient charts and route them to clinical staff per policy.
