Job Summary
Patient Services Representative handles front desk responsibilities for a podiatry practice: greets and registers patients, verifies insurance and demographics, checks patients in/out and schedules appointments, collects co-pays and payments, answers phones, resolves registration errors, completes referrals and authorizations as needed, maintains tidiness of front office and waiting area, demonstrates working knowledge of the EMR system, and supports surgery scheduling. Requires a high school diploma or GED, computer and customer service experience, understanding of medical insurance, and OSHA & HIPAA compliance.

- Understanding of medical insurance required
- Experience with Medical Records Software and practice management software preferred
- Front desk medical practice experience required
- Working understanding of OSHA & HIPAA compliance
