Job Summary
Handle inbound calls and serve as the first point of contact for inquiries related to appointments, health questions, and general information about Valley Health Care, Inc. services. Access and document patient information in electronic medical records (EMR) while adhering to HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines. Provide accurate and timely assistance, escalate complex issues as needed, and collaborate with team members across departments to resolve patient inquiries. Maintain a professional, empathetic demeanor, multitask in a fast-paced environment, participate in training and meetings, and uphold the organization’s Code of Ethics and mission. Proficiency in computer skills and the ability to learn EMR software are required; flexibility to work varied hours as needed in a patient services environment.
