Job Summary
Patient Services Representative II responsible for registering patients, capturing accurate demographic, financial, and medical information, and handling first-call resolutions. Role includes pre-registration and scheduling of moderately complex procedures, verifying insurance, assisting with referrals, and coordinating multiple resources to enhance patient experience. Duties encompass guiding patients through registration in the EHR, ensuring signatures and required forms are completed, verifying insurance details, obtaining referrals/authorizations/pre-certifications when needed, and handling inbound/outbound calls to schedule or remind patients. Emphasis on exceptional customer service, accuracy, and ability to manage patient flow and paperwork related to patient care.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) years of related customer experience, preferably in healthcare
- Proficiency in scheduling OR pre-registering patients
