Job Summary
Patient Services Representative II/Mobile Unit Driver responsibilities include transporting medical staff via mobile unit, maintaining unit cleanliness and readiness, completing daily logs, setting up and breaking down materials, assisting patients with intake, registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and transportation, providing information on funding eligibility, and performing clerical duties to support mobile-unit operations. The role requires high school-level education, valid Louisiana driver’s license, strong customer service and communication skills, and experience in healthcare and driving medium/heavy trucks or mobile units; the schedule is full-time (approx. 40 hours/week) during the SBHC calendar year with standard Monday–Friday hours and potential schedule variations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Louisiana Driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience in customer service and/or working as a patient representative
- At least two years of healthcare experience
- 2 - 3 years of experience driving and maintaining medium to heavy trucks, mobile units, or RVs
- Applicants must have a driving record with no DUI convictions and not more than 2 moving violations within the last 3yrs
