Job Summary
The Patient Services Representative I at JCMC Sick and Well is responsible for greeting patients, answering inquiries, scheduling appointments, processing referrals, and collecting payments. This role requires at least 1-year experience in a medical office, effective communication skills, and the ability to maintain patient confidentiality. Additional responsibilities include maintaining patient accounts in NextGen EHR and ensuring timely completion of tasks to optimize patient satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)
- 1-year experience working in a medical office setting
- Effective verbal and written communication at all levels, both internally and externally
- Self-motivated, quick learner, organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task
- Active listener with the ability to respond appropriately and professionally
