Patient Services Representative - HIV Departmental Operations

Process patient registration, verify demographics and insurance cards, and obtain identification for appointments. Schedule, reschedule, or cancel services while transcribing orders and updating medical records. Answer internal and external calls, route inquiries, and enter scheduling information into the computer system. Troubleshoot registration errors, collect payments, reconcile cash drawers, and verify RX benefits. Assist patients with online scheduling, referrals, and pre-certifications, then pull and route patient charts per policy. This role serves as the primary point of contact between patients and physician practices within the HIV Departmental Operations at Roper St. Francis Healthcare.
