Job Summary
Patient Services Representative at Corewell Health delivers registration, concierge, and clerical support to patients; handles complex patient/problem solving during registration and in-office procedures; schedules appointments and manages referrals and medical records review; verifies and obtains insurance authorizations; performs EMR/EHR scanning and Right Fax uploading to EPIC; assists with training new team members; participates in safety initiatives and risk-mitigating measures; supports provider templates and multi-department deposits; role requires high school diploma and relevant experience; shift is from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday; located at Care Center Lakewood, Holland, MI.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of relevant experience in insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, electronic health records, lab service support or other related fields
