Job Summary
The Patient Services Representative facilitates communication between patients and doctors, clinical staff, and administrative staff; verifies insurance and obtains pre-authorizations; checks patients in/out, schedules appointments, answers phones, triages, responds to patient inquiries, and maintains charts. Responsibilities include processing payments, filing clean claims, authorizing insurance and billing, scheduling referrals, and entering data into the EHR. The role requires welcoming patient interactions, managing patient flow, and ensuring a safe, clean medical office environment. Skills include excellent communication, customer service, billing awareness, and proficiency with EHR systems. Location: Barberton, OH (on-site). Growth through a company-paid certification program is offered; starting wage is $16.00 per hour.
