Patient Services Representative

Job Summary
Handle patient queries via inbound/outbound calls, collect balances, coordinate information between patients, insurers, and medical staff, ensure HIPAA compliance, maintain accurate records, assist with billing queries, and support department goals. Requires strong communication, detail-oriented mindset, ability to work with confidential information, experience in a call-center environment, proficiency in email, and the ability to perform simple calculations.
Required Qualifications
- Preferably College Graduate or at least 2 years in college
- Degrees and Courses related to Medical Field is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Ability to work with confidential information
- Able to perform simple mathematical calculations
- Detail oriented
- Proficient in the use of email
- Highly motivated self-starter
- Organized, able to set priorities and meet deadlines
- Dependable and reliable
- Team player being supportive of Department and Company goals and policies
- Must be flexible with schedule
- At least 1 year call center experience related to Medical Accounts and Programs is a plus
