Job Summary

Greet patients entering the office, obtain required information, and perform registration by verifying insurance and collecting co-pays. Answer phones, schedule appointments, and direct patient calls while coordinating outside testing. Serve as a liaison between patients and the practice, providing backup for scheduling. Pull charts for appointments, file completed records, and update demographic and company information. Review Epic charts before visits to ensure consents and insurance cards are current. Respond to medical record requests from patients, insurers, physicians, subpoenas, and legal requests per protocol. Complete daily reconciliation reports to verify charges and file test/procedure results after physician sign-off. Perform all duties ensuring patient safety, confidentiality, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 0 to 2 years experience in a customer service position
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree
  • One to three years prior physician office experience required
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology
