Job Summary
Patient Services Representative in EvergreenHealth's contact center handles first-point-of-contact duties for patients, coordinating scheduling for in-person and virtual visits, handling inbound/outbound calls, processing payments and insurance details, managing messages and work queues, and guiding patients to appropriate clinical staff. Responsibilities include arranging interpreter services, verifying insurance coverage and educating patients on benefits and co-pays, promoting the patient portal enrollment, and triaging emergent or urgent requests to clinical teams. Must communicate clearly, manage multiple tasks, and maintain professional, empathetic patient interactions in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in a customer service role
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills

- HIPAA compliance knowledge
