Job Summary
Conduct administrative duties as the first point of contact for patients, managing appointments, consultations, billing, and receipting while maintaining accurate confidential records. Deliver exceptional in-person and phone service in a fast-paced environment by coordinating patient journeys and adapting to changing priorities. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless clinic operations and support day-to-day functions with high attention to detail. Work full-time, 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, providing empathetic care to patients navigating their cancer treatment journey.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical reception, healthcare administration or customer service role
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding patient care and customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- High attention to detail and excellent computer and administrative skills
- A professional phone manner and confidence managing a high volume of enquiries
- evidence of vaccination against, or immunity to, specified VPDs
