Job Summary
Oversee patient dining services, food safety compliance, and service quality across assigned areas while ensuring full adherence to The Joint Commission, CMS, and ACHC standards. Maintain accurate operational records for temperatures, sanitation, and preventive maintenance; manage retherm processes and Aladdin system procedures to ensure safe meal delivery. Lead and coach staff to develop competencies via platforms like Pineapple Academy and Jolt, coordinate staffing schedules aligned with FTE levels, and process in-unit food supply charges accurately. Serve as a liaison between Food & Nutrition Services, nursing, and other departments to drive continuous improvement and resolve patient concerns promptly.
Required Qualifications
- Current ServSafe Certification
- Six Sigma Yellow Belt
- Bachelor's degree in Food & Nutrition, Hospitality, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) credential through the Certifying Board for Dietary Managers
- 3–5+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare food service or hospitality operations
Desired Qualifications
- Six Sigma Black Belt (ASQ)
- Experience with food service systems and technologies (e.g., CBORD)
