Job Summary
Serves as an initial point of contact in a clinic setting by performing check-in/check-out functions and booking patient appointments. Handles demographic changes, verifies insurance eligibility, collects payments, prints and distributes documents, and supports on-site registration and release-of-information tasks while ensuring HIPAA/compliance. Must demonstrate excellent customer service, computer and 10-key skills, strong written and verbal communication, and ability to work in a team in a Monday–Friday 8AM–5PM schedule. Knowledge of medical insurance and familiarity with Windows environments are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience using a PC in a Windows environment
- Knowledge of medical insurance
