Job Summary
Greet patients and build rapport in-person and over the phone; screen and answer calls, relay information; verify outpatient therapy insurance benefits and explain financial responsibilities (co-pays/deductibles/coinsurance); manage incoming physician referrals and prescriptions, set expectations for first visits; scan insurance and ID cards and relevant paperwork into patient files; collect co-pays, balance daily collections, and submit charges to the Clinic Manager; maintain a clean, welcoming clinic environment following CDC guidelines. High school diploma or GED required; recent customer service experience; proficient in Word/Excel; strong communication, organization, and time management skills; reliable and adaptable in a fast-paced team setting. Preferred: healthcare office experience, basic medical terminology, and Spanish fluency.
