Job Summary
Administrative and clinical support for a physician practice, including scheduling patient appointments, check-in/check-out duties, greeting patients, handling routine inquiries by phone, processing billing forms, scanning documents to medical records, and contacting for records/lab results. May assist with more complex scheduling such as surgical scheduling and provider questions, prescription refills, and test results; serves as “Super User” for scheduling, registration, and billing systems and may train others in these areas.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 3-5 years office experience
- Strong technology and MS Office skills – Advanced Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Knowledge of office operations and standard procedures
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and time effectively
- Strong written communication and message taking
