Job Summary
Coordinate and provide patient support services including answering calls, greeting patients, updating medical records, and handling payments. Perform check-out processes such as co-pay collections, scheduling return visits, and ensuring follow-up tests are ordered. Monitor patient wait times, route incoming mail, and request referrals from referring offices. Schedule appointments, obtain insurance pre-certifications, and maintain cash drawers while reconciling daily cash and preparing bank deposits. Travel may be required to accommodate staffing levels at other clinical facilities.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One year of customer service experience
- Skill in problem solving
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to convey information both in writing and verbally
- High level of interpersonal skills
