Job Summary
Ensure customer and patient satisfaction by performing a variety of duties in the dining area. Adjust patient meal selections to diet restrictions with patient knowledge only and update menus using the assigned dietitian's guide to avoid errors. Describe ingredients and features of all menu items while performing data entry of food preferences into the Patient Services Software Platform. Utilize the EPIC Platform as needed. Work day shifts with weekend and holiday rotation from 6:30am to 3:00pm at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford, MA.
Required Qualifications
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
- Must be able to describe ingredients and features of all menu items
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED plus additional courses or training or the equivalent knowledge or experience preferred
