Job Summary
Welcome and attend to the needs of all patients while creating a positive front office experience by managing expectations and demonstrating compassion. Function as a member of the health care team by assisting in the delivery of patient-focused care through excellent communication and problem-solving skills. This role requires a high school diploma, one to two years of customer service experience, and a valid BLS certification. Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese is strongly preferred. Compensation ranges from $25.00 to $29.38 hourly. As the nation's largest Federally Qualified Health Center, AltaMed serves over 400,000 patients in Los Angeles and Orange Counties.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience as a customer service agent, greeter, or receptionist
- Valid BLS certification or higher following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines
