Job Summary
Welcome and attend to the needs of all patients, creating a positive front office experience by managing expectations while demonstrating compassion and respect. Function as a member of the health care team by assisting in the delivery of patient-focused care through excellent communication and problem-solving skills. This role requires a high school diploma, 1–2 years of customer service experience, and a valid BLS certification, with bilingual skills strongly preferred. Compensation ranges from $25.00 to $29.38 hourly. As part of AltaMed's diverse team of dedicated professionals, you will support our mission to provide affordable, high-quality health care to over 400,000 patients in Los Angeles and Orange Counties.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience as a customer service agent, greeter, or receptionist
- Valid BLS certification or higher following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines
