Job Summary
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Collect specimens, enter patient data accurately, process billing information, and prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs while providing superior customer service to all patients. Handle administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Work Monday through Friday and alternate Saturdays, with flexibility for overtime.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed

- 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
