Patient Service Specialist

Answer telephone calls, communicate messages via email or Epic, and register and schedule patient appointments. Collect copayments, make appointment reminder calls, and verify insurance and patient data accuracy. Scan and upload patient information to electronic charts while ensuring confidentiality in all instances. Provide backup for medical records scheduling, insurance verification, and patient referrals, and float between multiple locations as assigned. Maintain a pleasant and professional appearance and conduct throughout the day.
