Patient Service Specialist Float PRN - Heart and Vascular Institute

Conduct patient check-in and check-out, coordinate follow-up appointments and procedures, and schedule surgeries through clinical communication systems. Manage inbound and outbound telephone calls, cash management, and appointment scheduling while processing insurance updates. Navigate complex cases requiring coordination with multiple services or outside facilities to ensure referrals, pre-certs, and clinical documentation are ready prior to visits. Provide positive first impressions using customer service skills and occasional guidance for entry-level co-workers. Work Monday through Friday days on a PRN basis across various locations in Nashville, Cool Springs, Columbia, and Clarksville.
