Job Summary
Provide patient-first experience by assisting patients, families, and visitors from arrival through departure. responsibilities include scheduling and pre-registration, MyChart enrollment and visit preparations, patient registration, telephone triage, insurance verification, co-pay collection, patient/record tracking, scheduling, arrival/departure desk activities, screening and scheduling interpreter services, entering and maintaining confidential patient information, and recruiting/educating patients on MyChart and Appointment Pass. A caregiver excels by delivering proactive service, resolving patient issues per the HEART model, and creating a welcoming environment while supporting multiple locations within the Cleveland Clinic Health System.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2 years of experience in patient registration, appointment scheduling, insurance processing or customer service OR Associate’s Degree and 1 year of experience OR Bachelor’s Degree
