Job Summary
As a Patient Service Specialist, you will provide an exceptional patient experience at Cleveland Clinic. Responsibilities include scheduling, pre-registration, visit preparations, and assisting with MyChart enrollment. This role requires effective communication and customer service skills, managing patient registration and issues, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients and visitors, and using the HEART model for resolution. The ideal candidate should have a background in healthcare customer service, with a minimum of a high school diploma and experience in relevant fields.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED and two years of experience in patient registration, appointment scheduling, insurance processing or customer service
- Associate’s Degree and one year of experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of medical terminology
Additional Requirements
- Must float between all Children's Institute locations as needed
