Job Summary
Independent contractor role training patients on LifeVest wearable cardioverter defibrillator; duties include scheduling services with caregivers, traveling to patient homes or healthcare facilities, training patients and caregivers, programming LifeVest per physician orders, sizing garments, paperwork, transmitting agreements, managing device and garment inventory, disclosing referral relationships, and following up to ensure understanding and satisfaction. Flexible schedule with daytime/evenings/weekends, ability to accept/decline assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Have 1 year patient care experience
- Patient experience must be in a paid professional environment (not family caregiver)
- Patient experience must be documented on resume
- Completion of background check
- Florida and Ohio candidates must complete a level 2 screening, fee not paid by ZOLL
- Disclosure of personal NPI number (if applicable)
- Valid driver’s license and car insurance and/or valid state ID
- Willingness to pay a $30 annual DME fee which is deducted from a completed Work Order
- Willingness to pay for additional vendor credentialing (i.e. RepTrax) if needed geographically
