Job Summary
Provide front desk and administrative support in a Tucson urology clinic. Responsibilities include patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling, time-of-service collections, and daily reconciliation while adhering to HIPAA standards. Assist with patient inquiries, manage EMR entries, handle billing-related tasks including copays and balances, ensure accurate demographics and insurance eligibility, obtain necessary consents, and coordinate with providers and staff to maintain smooth patient flow and satisfaction. Maintain waiting areas and perform other duties as assigned, with emphasis on accuracy, compliance, and reliable attendance.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred
- 0-1 years of experience in a clinic, medical office, or similar healthcare setting required
- Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
